The Emerging Community recognition by the International Living Future Institute is an outstanding achievement for projects that have successfully completed the Master Plan Compliance accreditation process and have begun community building. This recognition highlights the project’s commitment and significant progress in implementing sustainable, regenerative and socially equitable practices. To earn this distinction, projects must demonstrate their adherence to the most rigorous standards in crucial areas such as energy, water, waste, transportation and social equity, presenting a clear vision of transformation towards a more sustainable and resilient future.
It is a testament to the leadership and dedication of the team behind the project, as well as the innovative vision and holistic approach adopted. In addition to environmental criteria, it also values the involvement of the local community, the promotion of social justice and the positive impact on the quality of life of the residents. We hope to set an example and inspire other developments to follow a path of sustainability and regeneration.
Our development approach is based on two fundamental principles: the preservation of forests and the construction of housing on land previously used for agriculture. To minimize environmental impact, we take advantage of existing roads. In addition, we implement sustainable practices in the provision of services and carry out restoration actions to conserve ecosystems.
Our main guide for achieving our objectives is the Compliance Master Plan. We expect this plan to serve as an example for other projects in the region, promoting sustainability and high environmental performance.
The Master Plan is structured based on the 20 imperatives established by the Living Community Challenge. This plan clearly organizes the guidelines and directives that we will follow for the planning, design and operation of the community in the short, medium and long term.
