To supply the general services of the Development and all the community buildings, we will have a safe and efficient electrical grid based on renewable energies.
Due to the current limitations of the national regulatory framework, we will have an internal distribution network connected to the National System administered by the National Electricity Commission (CFE), so we will have bi-directional meters in the areas and buildings that will generate their own energy resources, committing ourselves to inject an additional 5% of the energy necessary to operate the infrastructure and community spaces.
Owners of individual lots will be able to choose to be supplied by CFE energy, however they will be obliged to produce at least 30% of their homes from renewable sources. On the other hand, villas and apartments will be 99% supplied by emission-free sources with the exception of a stove burner that can be supplied by Gas (tortilla exception).
105% of the Community’s energy needs must be supplied by renewable energy generated by the Community on a net annual basis, including all energy for transporting water and waste. The Community must provide for a local energy storage system to increase resilience.
